To Our Immigrant Neighbors and Friends

In the midst of current events, we want to send a message very loud and very clear: we stand in support and solidarity with our immigrant and BIPOC neighbors. We see, feel, and hear your anger, grief, fear, and disappointment. What you are experiencing and being subjected to is unjust, unfair, and undeserved. We stand with you and work to always be a safe space in our community - a space where you are always welcome.

What we are seeing our neighbors experience is continued trauma and violence, and the impact is very real. Some might struggle loudly, making your feelings and reactions known to the outside world. Others may be struggling silently, behind closed doors, with no one to witness the true impact of living through such harm. Both experiences are valid, both are real, and whichever way you may be experiencing the impact of current events are equally deserving of support, care, and community.

We are committed to community support, advocacy, anti-oppressive practices, and protecting spaces where your humanity is seen and honored. In honoring our commitment, we want to share some valuable resources and information within the local community, state, and nationwide that might be of assistance.

No words can truly encompass the reality of what our communities and fellow humans are experiencing, and we recognize words can only go so far, but we want you to know this: we stand with you, we see you, and we will be here in support of you.
