What are you up to in your free time?

In my spare time to relax, I like to read fantasy/sci-fi and play video games. Food brings people together and I can't think of a better night than to cook and bake some tasty food and play some board/card games with friends. To stay active, I practice parkour and enjoy hiking on trails.

Any pets?

I love cats, but really any animal that could realistically be considered a pet would get an excited reaction out of me.

Life is hard and unrelenting sometimes, and it is important to be able to have a helpful and safe place to be able to slow down, process, and unpack some of the things that get thrown your way. Through connection and a therapeutic relationship, together we can examine and work through whatever you've got going on, whether it be healing through traumatic experiences, coping through anxiety and depression, or building stronger coping skills to grow and take on what life dishes out from a sturdier foundation.

I have specific training in trauma informed care and use CBT, DBT, and EMDR in conjunction with strengths-based and person-centered perspectives to work toward your goals. I approach therapy from a wholistic perspective which involves examining the different systems that influence one's mental health and wellbeing.

My goal is for you to be able to walk into my office and feel safe, understood, validated, and accepted. You're not alone in this and together, through building trust and engaging with vulnerability, we can do the hard work to address any challenges you bring to the table.
